A disturbing incident occurred on the Makurdi-Naka highway on sunday in Benue State, where suspected armed herdsmen ambushed a commercial bus and abducted all passengers on board.
The attackers reportedly intercepted the vehicle, which was traveling from Makurdi to Naka, and marched the passengers into nearby bushes at gunpoint.
The Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Edet Udeme, stated that she had not yet received any report of the incident and would confirm the situation and provide updates.
