Reverend Father Emmanuel Silas was kidnapped from the parish rectory of Saint Charles Catholic Church in Kauru Local Government area on Monday morning.
The incident comes barely five days after another priest, father Vitus Borogo who was ^lled on his farm by suspected terrorists two weeks ago was buried.
Although the police authorities and Kaduna state government are yet to acknowledge the incident, the Chancellor of Kafanchan Catholic Diocese, Reverend Father Emmanuel Okolo, confirmed it to press men on Monday
Reverend Father Emmanuel Silas is the fifth catholic priest under the Kaduna catholic Archdiocese to be kidnapped by bandits in less than a year.
