More details on victims of recent killings of kidnap victims after payment of ransom allegedly by bandits believed to have encycled city suburbs like Ogbomoso where it happened has emerged.
One of the victims killed is said to be Rachael, (See Picture) a final year student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, who chose to work in a hotel in Ogbomoso due to strike by the Academic Staff Union of University, ASUU.
Mr Olugbenga Owolabi lived abroad but had thought of investing in Ogbomoso’s hospitality, and create jobs in the process.
Mr Owolabi was kidnapped the day he got to Nigeria N5 million ransom was paid for Mr Owolabi and Rachael but yet they were shot and killed.
Also, the bike man who went with the person who took the ransom died too.
