Nigerian stand up comedian cum master of ceremonies, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome popularly known as Alibaba has called out Nigerian actresses whose sources of incomes are questionable.
Alibaba stated that it has become a thing of concern that some actresses who can barely be featured in English movies because of their low proficiency in the language, will churn out hundred millions of naira, to buy houses in high brow areas of Lagos State.
He noted that there are actresses who do legit businesses alongside their acting careers and there are the ones who get into shady enterprises to get affluence but come under the guise of acting to cover up their tracks.
Alibaba berated those shady actresses, noting that they should stop making the legitimate and hardworking ones feel like they are not doing enough because they are not buying houses and expensive cars like their mates in the industry.
Alibaba who got a bit hilarious at a point in his video, cited an example of an actress who he met at a hotel in Dubai but later discovered it was a Nigerian VIP who brought her there.
Thereafter, he saw her on Instagram posting videos of herself saying she’s “chilling in Dubai. Can you afford a ticket by yourself?” The Comedian asked.
