Laila Charani, one of Senator Ned Nwoko’s wives, has accused fellow wife and actress Regina Daniels of introducing her to drugs and engaging in relationships with women.
In a post on Instagram, Charani alleged that Daniels exposed her to drug use six years ago, nearly endangering her marriage. She claimed that her husband’s swift intervention prevented her from developing a drug addiction.
“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago, and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path,” Charani wrote.
Charani further alleged that Daniels has been a negative influence within the family, providing drugs to domestic staff, including her younger sister, Destiny. She also accused Daniels of lesbianism, stating that she “sleeps with every single girl around” her.
She urged Daniels to seek psychological help and to refrain from involving Nwoko’s other wives in her disputes with their husband.
The actress, Regina Daniels, has yet to respond to these allegations.
This comes amid ongoing public scrutiny of the personal lives of the prominent senator and his celebrity wife, which has frequently attracted media attention in Nigeria.
