ARD-FCTA Suspends Indefinite Strike

The Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Capital Territory Administration (ARD-FCTA), has suspended its indefinite strike for four weeks.

The suspension follows approvals granted by Minister Nyesom Wike, including improved welfare for doctors, which the association hopes will be implemented.

ARD-FCTA President, Dr. George Ebong, stated, “ARD-FCTA has suspended its strike for four weeks with the hope that the approvals from Mr. Minister will be implemented.”

This development comes shortly after the National Association of Resident Doctors suspended its industrial action, which commenced on November 1, 2025.
