A former presidential aide, Reuben Abati, has urged the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, to humble himself and apologize to Peter Obi.
Truth Live News can confirm that the governor’s threat to Obi has been met with condemnations from Nigerians of all walks of life, despite a few backings from figures like Nyesom Wike.
And, according to Okpebholo, his directive was only an advice and not a threat, referencing a past incident where a Commissioner of Police’s failure to adhere to such directive led to the death of his police orderly.
Reacting to the whole saga, Abait queried, “If Peter Obi decides tomorrow to take a second wife, will Okpebholo say he cannot come to Edo and take an Edo woman?”
He added that Okphebolo “should apologize for embarrassing Edo people.”
