APC Holds First Rancor-Free NEC Meeting In Abuja

NIGERIA, ABUJA – The National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was held today at the party’s National Headquarters in Abuja, bringing together top leaders and chieftains from across the country.

Nigeria’s Senate President, Godswill Obot Akpabio, who attended the meeting, described it as a significant milestone for the ruling party. “Today, I attended the NEC meeting of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the National Headquarters in Abuja,” he stated.

The meeting was graced by the party’s leader, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, alongside Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, GCON. Other notable chieftains from the six geopolitical zones were also in attendance.

Reflecting on the significance of the gathering, Akpabio noted that this was the first NEC meeting conducted without discord, which he believes is a positive sign for the party. “This is the first rancor-free NEC meeting of our party, and it is a sign of better things to come,” he remarked.

The APC NEC meeting comes at a crucial time as the party continues to consolidate its leadership and strategize for future governance and political engagements across the country.
