The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate for the forthcoming September election in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo, has conveyed heartfelt congratulations to High Chief Tom Ikimi on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued from Benin and personally endorsed by the candidate on Wednesday, Ighodalo lauded Ikimi as “a consummate architect, a political colossus, and a quintessential leader.”
The statement further expressed, “Today, I join family members, friends, associates, and numerous well-wishers to commemorate our Leader, High Chief (Dr) Tom Ikimi, CON, FNIA, KSG, as he reaches the remarkable milestone of 80 years. As you enter the octogenarian club, we offer gratitude to God Almighty, whose abundant grace and favor have enriched your life.”
“We celebrate not just your chronological age, but the profound impact you have made as a visionary architect, a towering figure in the political arena, a catalyst for national progress, and an exemplary community leader. Your courage, foresight, and strategic initiatives have solidified your position as a Man of the People,” the statement continued.
