The National Association of Nigerian Students on Friday released a new timetable for its protest across the country.
According to NANS the protests are scheduled to hold zone by zone, from its Zone A to Zone E, with Abuja being the location for a final protest.
The timetable was signed by the ‘President-Elect’ of the student body, Usman Barambu, dated Monday, September 19, 2022.
Recall that the protesting students halted flight schedules on Monday after blocking all major roads leading to the Murtala Muhammed Airport thus creating heavy traffic on the road on Monday.
The statement added in the protests, which have already begun in September, will run till October 11, 2022, after which Barambu will lead the “Abuja shutdown.”
NANS is protesting the lingering strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
