EXCLUSIVE: APC Aspirant Under Fire as Stakeholders Petition Screening Committee Over Alleged EFCC Links

The petitioners urged the APC leadership to critically scrutinize the aspirant over allegations bordering on breach of trust, abuse of office, cheating, and alleged misappropriation of public funds. They further claimed that reports linking the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to some of the allegations had already become a subject of public discussion within and outside the constituency.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Waste Management and OGWAMA Managing Director, Farouk Akintunde, announced the action on Sunday. He said the agency had issued several warnings to the company’s management to patronise government-approved Private Sector Participants (PSP) for waste disposal instead of burning it.
