An FCT High Court has affirm Hon Sir Igbas MD Ezehi as the Candidate of the Labour Party for Esan North East and Esan South East Federal Constituency in the 2023 General Election.
The case which was brought before the court was filed in July 2022 against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) who are the 1st defendant, Labour Party (LP) the 2nd defendant and Hon Sir Igbas MD Ezehi the 3rd defendant.
The case with Suit No: CV/2518/2022 was on Friday 20th January, 2023 dismissed in finality by the presiding Judge, Justice M. M. Adamu of the Gudu FCT High Court for incompetence and lack of jurisdiction.
The claimant, Obozua Jeffrey through his lawyer Olufemi M. Balogun Esq and Emmanual Bisong Otinyia Esq F&B Attorneys agreed with decision and thanked the court for the judgment.
