Armed bandits have shot dead a gallant police officer, DCP Aminu Umar, Area Commandant, Dutsin-Ma Command, Katsina state, the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Trurthlive.net exclusively learnt that the brave police officer was shot dead today in a duel with bandits in one of their hideouts around Dutsinma where they stay to perform their nefarious acts.
Until his death, DCP Aminu Umar was the only police officer feared by bandits in the Dutsinma area of Katsina state. He openly engages in firearms exchange with bandits and courageously neutralize them
As at the time of filing this report, there has not been an official statement from the Katsina state police command.
