Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has directed the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to withdraw all criminal complaints against renowned Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate.
The minister also ordered the reduction of the artiste’s flight ban from six months to just one month.
The directive extends to the restoration of licenses for Captain Oluranti Ogoyi and First Officer Ivan Oloba of VALUEJET, whose certifications will be reinstated after serving the same one-month suspension period.
In another high-profile intervention, Keyamo addressed the case of Ms. Comfort Emmanson, a passenger on an Ibom Airline flight who was facing legal action. After conferring with the airline’s management, the minister secured an agreement to withdraw the complaint against her. He also instructed the Commissioner of Police at the Airport Command to take immediate steps to facilitate her release from Kirikiri Prisons within the week.
