Chikun, Kaduna state
In a harrowing turn of events, Kaduna State faces yet another wave of terror as 87 individuals were abducted in a brazen attack on the Kajuru-Station community. The assailants, believed to be terrorists, unleashed chaos late Sunday night, leaving a trail of fear and devastation in their wake.
Confirming the grim reality, Harisu Dari of the Kajuru-Station Youths revealed the extent of the tragedy. Not only were lives torn apart through abduction, but the attackers also ransacked shops, pillaging food supplies and other essentials. The ordeal unfolded under the cover of darkness, amplifying the sense of vulnerability within the community.
Truth Live News gathered that this incident follows closely on the heels of another abduction just days prior, where 15 women and a man were forcibly taken from the Dogon-Noma community within the same local government area. The frequency and audacity of these attacks have transformed Kajuru and Chikun Local Government Areas into epicenters of fear and uncertainty.
With over 600 individuals now abducted within the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, the situation has reached a critical juncture. The recurring nature of these atrocities prompts speculation among political analysts, raising questions about potential underlying motives.
As Kaduna grapples with the aftermath of yet another tragic episode, the imperative for swift and decisive action becomes increasingly urgent. The safety and security of its residents hang precariously in the balance, demanding concerted efforts to stem the tide of terror and restore a semblance of normalcy to the beleaguered region.
