BREAKING NEWS: Former Minority Whip, Hon. Sir Ezehi Igbas, Appointed Chairman of Edo Assembly Service Commission

In what can be described as a perfect fit for the role, former Minority Whip of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sir Ezehi MD Igbas, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission. His nomination by Governor Monday Okpebholo received swift approval from the State Assembly, solidifying his well-earned elevation.

Hon. Igbas, a seasoned legislator and community leader, holds a degree in Statistics and an MSc from the prestigious Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. A dedicated member of the Catholic Knights of St. John International (KSJI), he is also a respected traditional titleholder, bearing the Chieftaincy title of Ezehinomon of Ujogba Land in Esan West LGA.

Having represented Esan North East Constituency 2 in the Edo State House of Assembly from 2015 to 2019, Hon. Igbas brings invaluable legislative experience and leadership to his new role. His appointment is expected to enhance the administrative efficiency of the Assembly Service Commission.
