Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo State has sacked Commissioner for Roads and Bridges, Engr Newton Okojie, who is also a brother inlaw to Tony Aziegbemi, PDP Chairman in Edo state.
According to a press statement a statement signed by commissioners for communication and orientation, Mr Chris Nehikhare, the governor thanked the Commissioner for his service to the state and wished him well in his future endeavours.
The statement read in part:
“The Hon. Commissioner for Roads and Bridges, Engr Newton Okojie has been relieved of his office.”
