The Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to meet with Rivers State Governor, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike within the next few days.
A close source told truthlive.net that Peter is already scheduled to hold talks with the Rivers Governor early next week and his APC candidate is expected afterward, confirmed our source did not want her name mentioned.
Barr. Nyesom Wike has been receiving in Port Harcourt, the state capital, the who is who in Nigerian politics since June 2022 sending political pundits to continue to hold divergent opinions about the next move of the maverick Governor, also known as ‘Mr. Projects”.
The scheduled visit by Tinubu will certainly mark a huge political statement that would further confirm the widely held view by many Nigerians that Nyesom Wike has become the beautiful bride of Nigerian politics.
When our correspondent contacted an aide to Asiwaju Tinubu to confirm the story, he simply responded thus:
“Our principal has been making consultations since the last months, with political leaders across board and if he does visit, the Rivers State Governor whom we hold in the highest regard, it will surely be in continuation of the Asiwaju ongoing consultations”.
“But I will suggest we keep our fingers crossed and watch as things unfold in the coming days”, the aide who spoke to us in confidence stated.
