The Edo State Governorship Election Tribunal has admitted exhibits presented by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) showing alleged falsification of election results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 53 polling units in Oredo Local Government Area.
Truth Live News understands that the evidence, tendered during the ongoing tribunal proceedings in Benin City, clearly showed discrepancies between the original results recorded at the polling units and the figures declared by INEC.
Lead counsel for the PDP, , argued that the altered results substantially affected the final outcome in Oredo LGA, a stronghold of the PDP. Adediran described the admitted exhibits as a “clear testament to systemic irregularities” and reiterated his client’s demand for justice.
