The Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), Rt Hon Blessing Agbebaku, has flagged off the completion of the Uzebba Shopping Mall, comprising 40 lock up stores, amidst jubilation by the residents.
The shopping mall is one of the strategic projects of Mr. Speaker in Owan West.
“I want to thank you for electing me to represent you at the Assembly. You did not only stop there, you went on your knees, prayed and ensured I emerged Speaker of the Assembly.
“Let me commend my senior brother and friend, Hon. Daniel Asekhame for initiating this project some years ago when he was the Council Boss.
“He meant well for his people by initiating this gigantic project, housing 40 lock up stores.
“This project when completed, will no doubt, advance the socio-economic condition of the people of the area.
“Remember that the issue of this shopping mall has been on for over ten years. Be rest assured that within the space of three months, the mall will be completed.
“I can therefore understand the wide jubilation upon seeing men mobilized to site.”
Responding, the Chairman of Uzebba Central Motor Park, Mr. Richard Alofokhai, expressed gratitude to the Speaker for his intervention, thanking him for the unique opportunity to address one of the pressing needs of the people at Uzebba.
Similarly, Agbebaku, inspected the ongoing road project at Aisiku street in Sabongidda-Ora, and urged the contractor handling the work to speedily complete the project for the benefit of the people of the area.
