Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku has promised to pay the enrollment fees for 20 Edo students as mark of appreciation to God for making him Speaker of the house of assembly.

He made the pledge at the Mary Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Sabongidda-Ora 2023 annual adult harvest thanksgiving.

“As part of my own contribution to this church, I have concluded plans to give out free twenty (20) National Examination Council (NECO) forms to students in this church.

“Shortly, we will be rolling out plans and packages for widows, students, farmers and active market women.

“We will continue to do our best to ensure and justify the reason for my representation at the House”, Agbebaku said.

Agbebaku, while expressing his joy at the thanksgiving mass, said it was a great moment, considering God’s faithfulness and kindness towards him and his family, noting that, “this year’s theme: ‘Harvest of Divine Testimonies’ is a unique one.

“There is always a time to plant and harvest, as God remains the greatest Miracle Worker who rewards His children bountifully.”

He congratulated Rev. Father Philip Okon and the entire members of Mary Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for the successful harvest.

Responding, the Catholic Reverend Father, Okon, lauded the Speaker of the Assembly for honouring their invitation and prayed for more of God’s wisdom upon him and his family, always.
