In a press statement issued by
Okonofua Harry Osemobor, the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman ENELGA, and made available to Truth Live News, he drew the attention of the public to a very sinister propaganda machinery of the APC orchestrated by the person of Hon Odi Okojie, the house of representative member and his social media boys to tarnish the image of the local government chairman and attempt to rope him into a jamboree that he has no hand in.
The statement reads
” Our attention has been drawn to a hasty response to a video on social media which we believe was sponsored by Hon Odi Okojie and the APC.
That he responded the way he did further reinforced our conviction that the drama was intentionally put together to try to tarnish the image of the local government Chairman, Hon Dr Kelly Inedegbor.
We wish to state emphatically that the people of Uromi know those politicians with record of violence, and the local government Chairman is not one of them. ”
The press secretary when a step further to set the records straight by attesting that his” local government Chairman has adequate police protection with AK-47 riffles and therefore has no reason of whatsoever to recruit the kind of person used in that video and give those kind of guns looking like toy guns to protect him”.
Furthermore, he exposed the frail and tacky lies of the APC by affirming that ” in the said rally, the local government Chairman duly informed all security heads in the local government and their men were dispatched in their numbers to provide adequate security during the political rally”. This gave credence to the fact that the chairman had enough police presence at his beck and call and therefore did not need any thug.
He said ” Let me also use this medium to state categorically that the local government Chairman does not know the young man in the video and he has never met him in his life. It was during the course of this video circulating that the attention of the Chairman was drawn to the fact that the boy in the video is a younger brother to an APC Chieftain, Ebosetale Agogo, who is an ally of a former local government Vice Chairman, Hon Saturday Iyoha, who is also an APC Chieftain. This for us is a confirmation of our belief that this was scripted by the APC and Hon Odi Okojie.”
The entire fiasco was a drama scripted, acted and poorly acted by APC for hideous reasons
