Followers Of Nigeria Sports Minister React To New Report

Followers of Nigeria Sports Development Minister Sen. John Owan Enoh, on social media have reacted to his new report on Facebook.

Their response on Facebook showed some calling on the Minister to bring some of Constituents to join the Millitary through sports.

Sen. Enoh posted on Facebook pictures of him with the Director of Defence Sports, Defence Headquarters Abuja, on Thursday May 9, 2024.

The reaction came as Air Vice Marshal Abidemi Timothy Marquis and members of his team paid a courtesy visit on the Minister at the National stadium Abuja.

The aim of the visit was in respect of the African Military Games to be hosted by the Nigerian Military.

Senator Enoh who is a Nigerian politician, teacher, farmer, and philanthropist from Cross River State Central Senatorial District is currently the 36th Minister of Sports Development of Nigeria.

“As a ministry we are ready to give the military needed partnership,” he said in the post, after pledging to defend the concept of partnership in sports development.

“The games will speak monumentally for Nigeria and the continent, foster solidarity and esprit de corps amongst African Nations.”

The Minister who got elected to represent the Cross River Central Senatorial District and served in the 8th Senate (2015-2019) as chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, had several followers.
