Napoli are demanding Rasmus Hojlund plus £33.6 million from Manchester United for Victor Osimhen’s signature this summer.
Truth Live News reports that Manchester United are keen on signing a new striker to bolster their squad after a trophy-less 2024/25 season.
The Red Devils are now exploring alternative options, including Osimhen, after Liam Delap’s preference to join Chelsea became clear.
Manchester United’s director of football, Matt Hargreaves, recently traveled to Italy for talks with Napoli’s owner and sporting director to discuss Osimhen’s transfer.
However, Napoli are demanding a Rasmus Hojlund plus £33.6 million for Manchester United to land Osimhen to Old Trafford.
Osimhen has a £63 million release clause in his contract, valid only for teams outside of Italy, and his loan deal with Galatasaray will expire in June.
The 26-year-old Nigerian attacker is yet to decide his next move after the season.
