The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and sportswear company Nike have unveiled new jerseys for the Super Eagles, ahead of upcoming international fixtures, despite the team missing out on the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Nike, in a statement on the official Super Eagles X page, said: “The concept behind the new kit emphasises versatility, combining athletic functionality with a streetwear-inspired aesthetic. These designs continue our tradition of bold kits that connect with fans both on and off the pitch.”
The home jersey features a bright light green base with darker green side panels and a fading dot gradient, displaying the Nigeria Football Federation crest and Nike logo. The away kit is predominantly white with green flame-like patterns from the hem, a dark green V-neck collar, and black-trimmed sleeves. Both kits are made from sustainable materials and include Nike’s Dri-FIT technology to improve comfort and breathability during matches.
The jerseys will retail at £109.99 for adults and £84.99 for children.
The launch comes after Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, following a penalty shootout defeat to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the CAF playoff round. The NFF has appealed to FIFA over alleged irregularities in the eligibility of some DRC players, but FIFA has confirmed Congo DR as a legitimate participant in the upcoming playoffs in Mexico.
Speaking on the new kits, an NFF spokesperson said: “While missing out on the World Cup was disappointing, we remain committed to preparing a competitive team for upcoming international fixtures. The new kits reflect our ambition and pride in representing Nigeria.”
The Super Eagles squad includes notable players such as Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, and Ademola Lookman, who are expected to feature prominently in future competitions.
