Former Dep. Governor of Kogi State, H.E. Yomi Awoniyi has joined the APC ahead of the Nov. 11 guber election in the state. Awoniyi was presented by the Governor of Kogi State, H.E. Yahaya Bello to the National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje at the Party’s National Secretariat.
Arc Yomi Ayoniyi was a gubernatorial aspirant at the PDP primaries. He is also a major stakeholder from Kogi West senatorial constituency that also has Senator Dino Melaye (PDP ) and Hon Abejide (ADC) as hot gubernatorial contenders.
The Outgoing Governor has promised to do all in his power for APC to retain the state in the forth coming elections.
