Fuad Kayode-Laguda has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for the Surulere 1 seat in the House of Representatives.
Truth Live News gathered that Lauda emergence as the winner of the just concluded APC primary election set him on the course to succeed former Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.
The keenly contested election, held Saturday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, saw Laguda defeat other aspirants to be the party’s flag bearer for the forthcoming by-election.
Gbajabiamila, who previously represented the Lagos constituency, relinquished the seat upon his appointment as Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu in 2023.
