Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara has reshuffled his cabinet amidst the political crisis rocking the State.
Fubara’s decision to reshuffle the cabinet amid the crisis in Rivers demonstrates a proactive approach to address governance challenges. Reshuffling can help bring fresh perspectives and skills to tackle the situation effectively.
There’s been a significant reshuffling in the government of Rivers State, with the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor, being redeployed to the Ministry of Special Duties. This could indicate a shift in priorities or strategy within the administration.
Fubara also sent the Commissioner for Finance, Isaac Kamalu, to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.
The Governor asked them to immediately hand over to their respective permanent secretaries.
He said: “They are to hand over to their respective permanent secretaries immediately as this deployment takes immediate effect. All had over processes must be completed immediately”.
