Manchester United legend Gary Neville has slammed Arsenal’s forwards, insisting they lack the quality needed to compete.

Neville’s comments came after Newcastle United eliminated Arsenal from the Carabao Cup semi-final, winning 2-0 at St. James’ Park.

Newcastle’s victory, secured by goals from Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon, marked a 4-0 aggregate win over the Gunners.

Neville, commenting on Sky Sports, highlighted the shortcomings of Arsenal’s attack, particularly in comparison to Newcastle’s potent frontline.

Neville emphasized that Arsenal must strengthen their forward line in the summer transfer window, citing their failed bid for Ollie Watkins as evidence that the club acknowledges its current forwards are not good enough.
