The Islamic Law Enforcement Agents, Hishah have arrested 15 females and 4 males for allegedly organizing a same sex marriage in Kano State.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command Lawal Ibrahim Fagge confirmed the arrest to newsmen.
He said the suspected groom and bride, Abba and Mujahid, escaped after the arrival of officials of the agency.
He disclosed further that they were able to arrest 15 females who camouflaged like they were celebrating a birthday but intelligence report gotten said it was a planned same-sex marriage between.
He added that the owner of the event center and 3 of his staff were also arrested.
Fagge further stated that the command will not allow such indictment and illegal behavior to continue in Kano State as it is against the constitution of the state and Nigeria.
