Mr. Adesoji Johnson Adeleye, the proprietor of Klass Five Hotel in Akure, Ondo State, has been stabbed to death.
He was reportedly stabbed to death inside one of the rooms at the hotel, located in Arakale area of Akure, the State capital.
A source who preferred anonymity, said that the killers found their way into the hotel premises where they met the proprietor of the hotel who was awake and ready for the day’s work.
“They overpowered him, stabbed him severally and waited for him to die before leaving the room.
“We went out together last night and we both agreed to meet again in the morning,” he said.
A family member who also didn’t want his name in print, said that the incident has been reported at the police station and that detectives from the police headquarters in Akure have visited the scene of the incident.
“The men of the Police Command took the remains of the deceased to the morgue while some people have been invited for questioning”, he said.
The State Police Command image maker, Olayinka Ayanlade, who confirmed the murder, said that a manhunt has been launched to get his killers.
