Iheanacho Bids Farewell to Leicester City After Seven Years

Leicester City have officially announced the departure of Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho, bringing an end to his seven-year stint at the King Power Stadium.

Truth Live News reports that Iheanacho’s contract will expire at the end of June, and he will leave the club as a free agent.

He, during his time with the Foxes, scored 61 goals, including the winner in the 2021 FA Community Shield final against his former club Manchester City.

Truth Live News also gathered that Leicester City are also in talks with Iheanacho’s compatriot Wilfred Ndidi regarding a new contract, as his current deal expires at the end of the month.
