Samuel Anyanwu, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State, has cast his ballot at polling unit 012 at Amaimo Central School in Ikeduru local government area.
Anyanwu is running for governor against several other candidates, including incumbent governor Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress.
Voting is underway across the state, with a high level of security presence to ensure a peaceful and smooth process.
