Netanyahu Vows Israel Will Continue Attacks on Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel will continue its military offensive against Iran, warning that the attacks are not over and that the campaign has already weakened the Iranian government.

According to CBS News, Truthlive news learnt that Mr Netanyahu made the remarks during a meeting with leaders of Israel’s health system.

He said Israel had significantly damaged Iran’s capabilities and urged the Iranian people to rise against their leaders, expressing hope that they would eventually “cast off the yoke of tyranny.”

He added, however, that any change in Iran’s leadership would ultimately depend on the Iranian people themselves.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that negotiations with the United States were no longer being considered by Tehran.

Mr Araghchi said Iran was ready to continue its missile operations for as long as necessary. His comments suggest Iran is not prepared to enter immediate talks with Washington, despite earlier claims by US President Donald Trump that the conflict could end “very soon”.

The current crisis began after Israel and the United States carried out a joint attack on Iran on 28 February, sparking a deadly conflict that has since spread across parts of the Middle East.

The situation has raised fears of a wider regional war, as tensions between the countries continue to escalate.
