Iran has issued a warning, stating that if Israel retaliates against its recent drone and missile attack, Iran’s response will be larger and more severe.
Maj Gen Mohammad Bagheri, Iran’s armed forces chief, delivered this warning, cautioning against any Israeli military action supported by Washington.
He emphasized that Tehran had also cautioned the US that backing Israeli retaliation would result in targeting US bases.
Additionally, Hossein Salami, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, warned of retaliation against any Israeli attack on Iranian interests, officials, or citizens.
Israeli officials have not yet decided on a response to the Iranian attack as of Sunday morning, with any potential action to be discussed at a war cabinet meeting.
