Israel Afeare, well-known as Isreal DMW, the personal logistics manager of Nigerian artist Davido. He has disclosed that he met his wife as a virgin.
In response to trolls who were making fun of Israel over the age of his wife, Israel made this disclosure via his Instagram stories on Sunday.
It was previously reported that Isreal, a close assistant to Davido, ignited online debate after declaring that his wife, Sheila, was 22 years old as he celebrated her birthday on June 4th.
Following his admission, detractors ridiculed him for lying about the age of his wife, saying that she appeared to be older than 22.
Isreal responded to their criticism by stating on his Instagram story that he met her when she was a virgin and married her when she was 21.
He wrote;
“My dearest wife, meeting you as a full virgin at 21 makes me the happiest man forever. It is never common in Benin and Nigeria, never at all. Thanks so much.”
