The Anambra State House of Assembly Majority Leader Nnamdi Okafor, passed on in the early hours of Wednesday.
The lawmaker popularly referred to as the Akajiugo Awka, represented the Awka South Constituency 1 in the state Assembly before his demise.
Although, very little is known about the cause of his sudden death, it was gathered that the he slumped this morning in a Hotel in Sandton City, Johannesburg, South Africa, and was confirmed dead shortly after.
Okafor is said to have gone to South Africa for a legislative retreat in the company of other lawmakers in the state.
