The lingering strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU seems to be ending soon as the meeting between the union members and the Federal Government, which held today, has yielded good result.
According to Mr. Emmanuel Osodeke, President of ASUU, the union has reached an agreement with the government to adopt the University Transparency Accountability Solution (UTAS) as the payment platform of lecturers.
Other issues are yet to be agreed upon as they are still being deliberated on.
