Lagos based Auto Dealer, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna popularly known as IVD has been remanded in Kirikiri Prison by a court sitting in Lagos over the death of his wife, Bimbo.
Recall that in October 2022, IVD and his now deceased wife, Bimbo, made news following a marital feud that ensued between both parties. Following a scuffle that occured between the husband and wife, it was alleged that IVD pushed Bimbo into the fire lit in their matrimonial home, by the latter.
Bimbo got burnt beyond recognition and later died at the hospital where she was rushed to by her friend. The couple had five children together.
However, earlier today, IVD who appeared in court in company of his lawyer and his alleged girlfriend, Blessing CEO, was charged with involuntary manslaughter by Lagos state, following the details leading to the death of his wife, Bimbo.
