The management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC has released new fuel prices for different geopolitical zones in the country.
According to the price listing, the price of petrol will now be between #488 and #557, depending on the location.
Recall that on May 29, President Tinubu during his inaugural speech, stated that there was no provision for subsidy in the 2023 budget from June to December. This has caused a scarcity of petrol as well as a hike in the price of the product.
The new prices are set to take effect from Wednesday May 31st, 2023.
