President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has forwarded three additional ministerial nominees to the Senate on Tuesday.

- DR Jamila Bio
DR Jamila Bio – At the age of 37, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, originally from Kwara State, brings a remarkable lineage of political involvement to the table.
Her father, Ibrahim Bio, previously served as the Minister of Sports during the tenure of Goodluck Jonathan. Dr. Ibrahim, a multifaceted professional, boasts a background as a medical doctor, a politician, and a dedicated development practitioner.
- Balarabe Abbas Lawal
Balarabe Abbas Lawal – A former educator, Lawal has an impressive track record of public service. He held the position of Chief of Staff during El-Rufai’s term as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and subsequently became the Secretary of the Kaduna State Government under former Governor El Rufai.
Furthermore, Lawal played a pivotal role in the Nasir El-Rufai Campaign Organization and chaired the Kaduna State APC Transition Committee. Prior to his government service, he taught at institutions such as the College of Advance Studies (now Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic) in Zaria and the Administrative College of Nigeria (ASCON) in Badagry, Lagos.
- Olawale Olawande
Olawale Olawande – Olawale Olawande, currently serving as ENI Marketing & Communications at Energera Inc since April 2023, has been instrumental in providing innovative energy solutions for a greener and safer environment. His role involves supporting the headquarters in the USA with content development, strategic communications, event planning, and various marketing and communications activities.
Olawale Olawande’s professional journey also includes roles such as Senior Project Director at Exp Agency Africa, where he managed below-the-line campaigns for MTN, and Group Strategic Business Manager at Group8 Africa, where he provided advertising solutions for a range of businesses.
In addition to their professional qualifications and experiences, it’s worth noting that Olawale Olawande holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of Lagos, where he also served as the Social Secretary for the Faculty of Business Administration.
These nominations represent a diverse set of individuals with backgrounds spanning medicine, education, and corporate leadership, promising a blend of skills and perspectives for the future of the government.
