Doris Ogala Vows Legal Action Against Pastor Chris Okafor Over Alleged Breach of Marriage Promise

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced her intention to take legal action against Pastor Chris Okafor, alleging that the cleric reneged on a promise to marry her and subsequently married another woman.

Ogala made the allegation during a recent live discussion with media personality Daddy Freeze, where she spoke in detail about her past relationship with Pastor Okafor and the circumstances that led to their fallout. According to the actress, the alleged promise of marriage formed the basis of her decision to seek legal redress.

During the exchange, Ogala also responded to questions regarding her conduct at the time of the relationship, acknowledging that she engaged in phone-based intimate conversations with Pastor Okafor while she was still married to her former husband. She described the action as something she is not proud of but maintained that there was no physical relationship between them at the time.

“Was I chatting on my husband through phone intimacy? Yes, I did,” she said, stressing that the relationship did not involve physical contact during her marriage.

When asked if she had evidence to support her claims, Ogala stated that she possessed chat records and screen recordings, including a video which she said clearly showed dates and the recipient’s phone number. Daddy Freeze, however, cautioned her against making such materials public, warning that doing so could attract legal consequences bordering on privacy violations.

Despite the warning, the actress maintained that she was determined to pursue the matter, revealing that she had already instructed her lawyer to take necessary legal steps. She argued that Pastor Okafor’s decision to marry another woman after allegedly making commitments to her constituted valid grounds for legal action, adding that she was prepared to present her evidence in court.
