A 75-year-old man, Isa Nana Okpoku, has been arrested by Obi Divisional police for raping a 4years old girl in Nasarawa state.
Truth Live News gathered that Okpoku’s arrest followed after a report was lodged at Divisional Police Headquarters on Saturday, 10th December. DSP Ramhan Nansel, the spokesperson of the command revealed that the suspect and the victim both reside in the same house.
During the preliminary investigation, it was also revealed that the suspect, Okpoku lured his the toddler, who is his niece, into his room and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.
The victim was thereafter rushed to the hospital for medical examination and it was confirmed by the doctor that her hymen is broken.
