A 27-year-old man in Ondo State, Tunde Akinmoyewa, has died after allegedly testing the effectiveness of a so-called “bullet repelling charm.”
According to report, the deceased was shot by his friend, Bode, with a dane gun, a type of musket used by hunters.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Friday around 6:30 p.m. in the Laoso camp, located in Ondo West Local Government Area of the State.
Locals who witnessed the incident, said that the two men had taken a potion prepared by a native doctor, who claimed that it would make their bodies impervious to bullets.

Fearing the consequences of the disastrous experiment, Bode fled the scene, leaving his friend’s body behind.
The body was taken to a local clinic in the camp, where it was confirmed that Tunde had died.
