Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk’s much-anticipated Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) showdown seems to be more than just a social media stunt, as both billionaires have embarked on rigorous training. While their legal battle over Meta’s app Threads continues in a US court, it appears that they are also preparing for a physical clash in the UFC ring.

Recently, photos surfaced of Elon Musk training with renowned UFC fighter Georges St-Pierre. Now, Mark Zuckerberg has joined the ranks, training with Nigerian UFC fighter Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski, creating a buzz online. According to TMZ, the two billionaires visited Musk’s residence in northern California immediately after UFC 290 in Las Vegas on July 9, 2023.

The professional UFC fighters wasted no time in working with Zuckerberg, helping him prepare for a potential match against Elon Musk. The series of photos depict the trio wearing training shorts and standing on mats, with Zuckerberg’s wrists taped for support. Adesanya emphasized the seriousness of the training, stating, “No Fugazi with Mark. This is serious business.” Zuckerberg expressed his gratitude on Instagram, commenting, “It was an honor to train with you guys!”

The intense training sessions undertaken by these tech giants indicate that their promise to fight may not be a mere social media ploy but a genuine competition to determine which of the two is the stronger tech giant.
