NIGERIA, ABUJA – You are my African Queen crooner, Innocent Idibia also known as 2Baba has accused his family members of ruin him in their quest to settle his recent dispute with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
As fans and well-wishers continue heated discussions on 2Baba’s ordeal, he says he is a grown man who has the right to be with whoever he chooses.
Speaking in a video shared online, the legendary artist doubled down on his stance that the issue has gone dangerously out of hand.
“This whole thing has gotten dangerously out of hand, and I’m not just gonna be quiet anymore.
“I feel I have to say some facts here. I’m a grown man, and I believe I have the right to be with whoever I want to be with. You understand?
“My family has, in trying to say they want to save me or say they want to help me, has actually destroyed and they have killed somebody’s daughter’s character.
“Like they’ve just literally killed somebody. You understand? Natasha is getting death threats right now,” 2Baba said partly in the video clip.
Truth Live News Media reports that the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA) where the music legend’s wife serves as a lawmaker has invited her to appear before it to speak on why she decided to drag the name of the house in the mug through her behaviour.
The Assembly said that she has been summoned to clear herself in respect of a case of misconduct leveled against her.
Speaking during plenary, the Speaker, Blessing Agbebaku, said she is to give an insight to why she is dragging the name of the Assembly in the mud with her behaviour.
According to Agbebaku, “Hon. Natasha Irobosa has been summoned to appear before the Ethics and Privilege Committee of the Assembly due to her recent conduct which has been trending online.
“This conduct drags the name of the House into the mud and it is the responsibility of the members of the Assembly to conduct themselves well.
“This House has cerebral minds, educated people who had been dragged in the mud for too long by our colleague, Hon. Natasha. She has been trending on social media and television for the wrong reason.
“The house has members who know what they are doing and the attitude of our member has brought this house to disrepute and we will not tolerate it.
The Speaker noted that the committee would submit its finding to the House in two weeks time.
Recall that the Edo State House of Assembly member, Natasha has been trending for the wrong reasons recently after a video where she was having an altercation with her husband, Innocent Idibia surfaced online.
