Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday paid a heartfelt condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, at his residence in Abuja following the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
Hajiya Umma El-Rufai reportedly passed away in Cairo, Egypt, after a brief illness, drawing an outpouring of sympathy from political leaders, associates, and well-wishers across the country.
During the visit, Atiku expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the late matriarch as a pillar of strength whose legacy would continue to inspire her family and community. He prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and urged the El-Rufai family to find solace in the impactful life she lived.
