The Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA) has recalled employment letters issued to 324 individuals by the House Service Commission, declaring it illegal.
The withdrawal of the letters is contained in a joint statement by the Chairman and Secretary of the Commission, Sir Ezehi Igbas and Isoken Nehi- Olotu, respectively.
The statement describes the recent issuance of the employment letters as unauthorized, illegal, and unlawful, rendering them null, void, and of no effect.
The Commission however apologized to all recipients and regrets any inconvenience caused to those affected.
