Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced the death of Hajiya Hadiza Attahiru Jega, wife of former Vice-Chancellor of the institution and former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Attahiru Jega.
The university revealed this in a statement shared on its official social media page on Sunday, confirming “the passing of Hajiya Hadiza Attahiru Jega.”
While the cause of death was not declared, BUK extended its condolences to the bereaved family and offered prayers for the deceased.
