President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting Ibokette Ibas, the newly appointed sole administrator of Rivers state, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Truthlive News had reported earlier that Ibas appointment follows the crisis that had rocked the state in the last few days.
Ibas, a former chief of naval staff, arrived at the state house at 12:50 pm for the meeting.
The president has in an address yesterday imposed emergency rule in Rivers.
